Function: Tourism – Recreational Accommodation
Unit Area: 43 m²
Building Footprint: 33 m²
Total Site Area: 60,000 m²
The project involves the design and construction of a series of lightweight wooden cabins in an A-Frame structure. This construction method is simple, fast, and blends harmoniously with the surrounding landscape. Due to its lightweight foundation system, it leaves a minimal impact on the natural ground. The main objective is to create a calm and immersive space where visitors can experience the essence of nature in a simple yet intimate setting.
The site is located in a forested area of approximately 10,000 m², featuring unique and scenic views of the forest and a natural pond. Its natural qualities provide an ideal setting for developing tourist accommodation without requiring extensive land intervention.
Considering the high density of trees and the site’s natural fabric, the design is based on minimal site disturbance and maximum preservation of existing vegetation. Around 30 A-Frame cabins are strategically placed among the trees and around the pond to avoid cutting trees and to integrate the built structure organically into the environment. Narrow pedestrian pathways are planned to further minimize environmental impact.
Each cabin includes the following spaces:
• A cozy bedroom with a direct view of the surrounding nature
• A living area with large openings and abundant natural light
• A compact kitchen directly connected to the living space
The spaces are designed according to standards for two-person stays, emphasizing comfort, intimacy, and a close relationship with the natural environment.
