The project consists of designing and constructing a multi-purpose sports hall along with supporting service spaces. The layout is organized on a single level to minimize site intervention and to ensure short, efficient circulation paths and simple functionality. Both the structure and envelope are designed with a low-impact approach, aiming to preserve the natural landscape and integrate seamlessly with the site.

The site is located in one of the rural areas near Sari, surrounded by agricultural land and open landscapes. The surroundings offer wide 180-degree views of farms and nearby hills, and this visual quality directly informed the building orientation and façade openings.

The concept is based on minimal intervention in the ground, preservation of natural site lines, and visual integration with the distant landscape. The sports hall is placed on grade and aligned with the site’s natural slope, while pedestrian pathways are designed to minimize cuts and alterations to the terrain. The elongated form of the building and its wide openings enhance the indoor–outdoor connection and provide uniform natural lighting throughout the day.

• Multi-purpose Sports Hall: Standard dimensions (approx. 22 × 9 m), designed for various activities. The program includes a swimming pool, cold and hot jacuzzi, sunbathing deck, sauna, and a reception area.
• Changing Rooms & Restrooms: Independent, with direct and short access from the lobby.
• Equipment Storage: Located adjacent to the hall for fast and easy support.
• Lobby and Controlled Entrance: Organizes access and circulation to service areas and the main hall.

• Clear separation of entrances and exits to ensure efficient circulation.
• Use of wide openings for natural ventilation and daylight, combined with shading to control glare.
• Building orientation based on site views, maintaining visual continuity with the surroundings and minimizing landscape impact.
• The design process closely responds to the client’s specific functional requirements, which played a key role in shaping the final layout.
